inFAMOUS 2 Review

inFAMOUS 2 is one of the best games I ever played. Even though InFamous 2 tackles some obstacles to be a masterpiece, InFamous 2 is really fun and enjoyable to play. InFamous 2 is about Cole MacGrath, the same character from the first InFamous. In the beginning of the game, Cole gets his ass kicked by The Beast. Now Cole is going to New Marais to amplify his powers. One bad thing is that the original voice actor of Cole is not in this game. Even though he is not the voice actor anymore, Sucker Punch does a good job with the voice actors. Along with voice actors, Sucker Punch has a good variety of characters. InFamous 2 plays like a dream. The only thing that I have a problem with is that melee combat causes a wonky camera. That reminds me, Cole no longer uses his hands for hand-to-hand combat. Instead he uses a weapon called “The Amp.”  The story is understandable, and if you beat the first InFamous, as a hero and a villian, then you can continue those two stories at the beginning of InFamous 2. There are new powers including lifting cars and throwing them, summoning down townadoes, and new powers including fire and ice! Awesome! If you are a hero, then you can launch yourself up in the air on a coloum of ice, blasting ice shards at your enemies, and summoning ice shields and turning bullets into energy for Cole. A new addition is that users can create their own missions and share them online. I was not exactly blown away by the user-generated content form Sucker Punch, I am thrilled to see what people will come up with. Some camera issues might be a problem, but a minor problem. This game is awesome but not a masterpiece.
